- Click Add to Chrome above.
- Pin the Firefly icon in your toolbar for quick access.
- Click the icon, type one keyword per line, hit Add Keywords.

What we collect
Nothing. Firefly does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no remote servers.
What is stored locally
- Your keyword list and per-keyword styling (color, bold).
- The on/off toggle state.
This data is saved using the Chrome storage API. If you are signed in to Chrome with sync enabled, Chrome may sync this data across your devices — this is handled entirely by Google, not by Firefly.
Permissions, explained
- storage — to save your keyword list.
- tabs — to refresh highlighting when you switch tabs or toggle Firefly on/off.
- host access to all URLs — required so the content script can highlight keywords on whichever page you visit. The script runs locally in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Third parties
Firefly does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or remote code.
